Interior remodel

This home was in horrible condition.  Owner is fixing the house up as a rental.  Because the existing
walls were deteriorating badly and repairing the cracks with tape and drywall mud would only be
a temporary fix we decided to overlay the walls with 1/4" drywall and overlay the acoustic "asbestos"
ceiling with 1/2" drywall.   Installing 1/4" drywall on the walls instead of 1/2" enabled us to keep the existing
trim in place without loosing much of the reveal.  Before and after photos below.
